Exchange rates

This page presents statistics on foreign exchange rates. The daily exchange rate tables are updated every morning to reflect the fixing determined the previous day at 14:15 CET by the European Central Bank. Statistical information on exchange rates is included in tabular and time series form. The tables are in Excel format. The time series allow any selections of partial periods to be downloaded. Annual, quarterly and monthly series on guilder rates go back, as a rule, to 1982. Daily figures on the guilder exchange rate start in 1990. The calculation of guilder rates was discontinued on 1 January 2002. Euro exchange rate data start in 1999.

In addition to the tables and time series, we also present an ample choice of Excel charts on exchange rates. Alternatively, you may compose your own charts on the basis of daily series of euro exchange rates against a wile selection of foreign currencies. Pick any currency and period, and your chart is presented on-screen, ready to be downloaded.
