This page contains statistics on capital and money market rates. Statistical information on the wider subject of market interest rates is provided as time series, in the form of tables in MS Excel format.
Individual time series on selected periods may be specified and downloaded. As a rule, annual, quarterly and monthly series begin in 1982. Daily series start in 1990.
Also available here is an overview of the statutory interest rates. Statutory interest rates are the rates
which a creditor may legally claim from a debtor who has been in default on a payment due. Since December
2002, there have been two statutory interest rates:
1. the statutory interest rate on commercial transactions
2. the ‘traditional’ statutory interest rate on non-commercial transactions
Also provided is a table containing the official rates of De Nederlandsche Bank
over the period 1898 - 1998. The table contains the discount rate on bills of
exchange, the discount rate on promissory notes, the fixed rate on advances, the
rate on special loans and the marginal advance rate.
The ´interest rates´ table for banking customers (table 1.2.2) comprises the
interest rates on loans and deposits which resident banks in the Netherlands
have laid down in euro-denominated agreements with euro area households and
corporations.
Finally, this page contains a term structure of interest rates in order to calculate the current value of
pension liabilities (table 1.3). This table will be updated monthly and goes back until December 2003.
Because of the introduction of a new, extensive
reporting framework, a few of our statistical tables will be updated in a
later stage then you might me be used of us.
